Writing Roundup - October 2020
Hi there!
So, I’ve had a pretty busy month of writing about games - on other sites! :O
Yep, that’s right! As of early October, I was lucky enough to become part of the Player 2 Australia team, over at www.player2.net.au. At the same time, I also began reviewing the occasional Switch game over at Vooks - www.vooks.net.
While I’m still planning to continue writing here where I can, it’s probably going to be a bit lighter on main content. Racial Justice articles will still continue to go up every Sunday.
The plan is to do an article each month here, collecting all the external writing I do into one place. This is mostly for me to keep track of everything to be honest, but if you’re not me, you are of course welcome to click through and check out my work! :D
Well then, here we go!
Player 2
For October for Player 2, I reviewed 2 rouge-like games - Hades, and Crown Trick. I also published an article about the indie game Castle Rock Beach, West Australia, a beautiful photography sim, in which I was lucky enough to chat with the developer about their projects.
Vooks
October saw me review 3 Switch games for Vooks: first person puzzler Falcon Age, capitalist sandbox Little Big Workshop, and point & click adventure Roki.
Much more to come in November, with a few things already in the pipeline. Stay tuned here, or on my twitter at @Lawnch1.
