And The Best Game About Time (And Loops) Of 2024 Is…
Extra Coin
Top Notch Pixel Animation
With a world turned to shit, dive into "The Arcade", a virtual utopia(?) to pretend life is better. The game plays with the concept of loops despite it being a forward propelling narrative in a neat way. A really excellent treatise on why paying attention to reality, and acting on it, is incredibly important - escapism is fine, but it can’t replace the real deal. Something that continues to be ever so important as we march forward over the coming years. Really cool art, animation and premise, deserves way more attention.
